White Sox All-Star pitcher Lucas Giolito, wife file for divorce after 4 years of marriage

Chicago White Sox All-Star pitcher Lucas Giolito introduced on social media Monday that he and his spouse, Ariana Dubelko, have mutually agreed to finish their marriage after greater than 4 years collectively.

Giolito, 28, made the announcement in a prolonged Instagram publish throughout Monday’s Home Run Derby.

“Ariana and I’ve made the tough, however mutual, resolution to amicably finish our marriage. We’ve shared many memorable moments and experiences collectively, and wish to emphasize our continued friendship and respect for each other,” Giolito mentioned.

Giolito and Dubelko had been first married in 2018. They celebrated their four-year marriage ceremony anniversary this previous December.

Based on TMZ Sports activities, Dubelko filed for divorce in a California court, citing “irreconcilable variations.” A consultant for Giolito advised the outlet that the choice to separate was mutual, noting that the state doesn’t enable for a “joint submitting.”

“We emphasize our shared values of respect, understanding, and kindness, which have guided our decision-making course of. We maintain one another in excessive regard and intend to strategy our separation with the utmost dignity and care,” Giolito mentioned.
