FAMU halts football activities in wake of rap video

Florida A&M has suspended all football-related actions following the discharge of an unauthorized rap video filmed within the group locker room that contained express lyrics.

Coach Willie Simmons introduced the choice Friday evening, hours after the discharge of “Ship A Blitz,” from famous rapper Actual Boston Richey.

Simmons in a statement mentioned that whereas he helps free speech and musical expression, the language within the video “just isn’t in step with Florida A&M’s core values, ideas and beliefs.”

He mentioned Florida A&M has began an investigation into how the soccer locker room was accessed for filming of the video, and the usage of licensed Florida A&M attire that violates agreements.
