Bucks’ Lopez honored for youth literacy support


Milwaukee Bucks heart Brook Lopez was named the winner of the 2022-23 Bob Lanier Group Help Award on Wednesday.

Lopez, 35, was acknowledged for his assist of youth literacy packages in Milwaukee.

The winner was decided by an NBA govt panel and a 12-day fan voting interval from a pool of 10 finalists.

Along with his “Blocks for Books” program and different initiatives, Lopez contributed $235,000 to the hassle in 2022-23.
