Alabama’s Nick Saban likens quarterback search to grandma’s cooking: ‘Let the cake bake’
For the previous two seasons, the quarterback place at Alabama has been set, led by Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Younger.
Younger, who led the Crimson Tide to the nationwide championship sport in 2021 whereas successful the Heisman Trophy, was chosen first total by the Carolina Panthers within the 2023 NFL Draft.

Alabama will enter the 2023 college football season with questions on the quarterback place following Younger’s departure.
“We’ve got three guys which can be competing for that place proper now,” Saban stated Wednesday. “All these gamers are getting higher, and it’s vital for us that each one these gamers get higher. I don’t suppose anyone has truly separated themselves but up to now and I don’t suppose it’s one thing we’re attempting to hurry.”
The Crimson Tide returned quarterback Jalen Monroe from the 2022 roster and added Our Lady switch Tyler Buchner.
