URBANA, Sick. — The two-year-old grandson of Milwaukee Bucks coach Adrian Griffin died Saturday after the kid’s father discovered him unresponsive earlier within the day.
Jayce D. Griffin of Urbana, Illinois, was pronounced lifeless Saturday at 10:40 a.m. on the Carle Basis Hospital, in line with Champaign County coroner Duane Northrup. The coroner’s workplace stated preliminary reviews from an post-mortem performed Monday confirmed no proof of trauma or foul play.
“Presently, the demise of Jayce Griffin seems to be from pure causes pending further testing and last post-mortem outcomes,” Northrup stated in a press release.
Northrup stated the demise is underneath investigation by the Champaign police division and the Champaign County coroner’s workplace. Further data will not be launched till the completion of the investigation.
“My grandson Jayce was very particular to me and my household, and his passing is an agonizing tragedy that shall be felt without end,” Adrian Griffin stated in a press release launched by the Bucks. “I respect your respecting our household’s grief and privateness right now.”
