Ryan Mallett’s ex-wife shares posts after former QB’s death: ‘My heart breaks for everyone’

Former NFL quarterback Ryan Mallett died on Tuesday in an obvious drowning at a Destin, Fla. seaside.

His pals and former teammates, including Tom Brady, have shared heartfelt messages on social media in latest days, and posts proceed to pour in.

Mallett’s ex-wife, Tiffany Seeley, shared posts on each her Instagram story and Fb, saying her “coronary heart breaks for everybody.”

“Simply need to say thanks to everybody who has reached out,” she wrote on Instagram with a damaged coronary heart emoji. “My coronary heart breaks for everybody.” Within the message, she shared a photograph she had beforehand posted to her account of the 2 collectively.

“Simply need to say thanks to everybody for reaching out these previous few days. Sorry if I haven’t responded however the messages don’t go unnoticed. My coronary heart breaks for everybody who knew him,” she wrote in her Fb publish, via People.

Mallett and Seeley married, and separated, in 2020, which Seeley says was attributable to “dishonest.”

“We started constructing a brand new lovely dwelling throughout from my grandparents in cotter and we acquired married. Then got here Covid, dishonest, and drama across the nook to wake me up from this fairytale I assumed I used to be dwelling,” Seeley wrote in a 2020 Facebook post.

Whereas an investigation remains to be underway, officers did say that there have been “no rip currents” current when Mallett drowned.

“Flag situation was yellow. A yellow flag signifies medium hazard, average surf and/or currents,” Destin Beach Safety stated. “There have been no rip currents current within the space during which we responded to Ryan Mallett.”

Mallett started struggling whereas making an attempt to swim to a second sandbar about 150 ft offshore, based on investigators with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.
