Ex-Huntingdon captain returns to Stags as new director of rugby

Simon Chief returns to the membership following Reggie Reed and Tom Legal guidelines stepping down from their roles as head and assistant coach to take a well-earned break after three years on the helm.

After a semi-professional rugby profession taking part in at Angouleme in France, Welsh Districts and two stints at Stags, Simon discovered his true vocation as a coach.

Simon will convey a wealth of expertise, having labored as abilities and assault coach for Cambridge, Northampton Saints improvement program and the Belgium Nationwide aspect, additionally appearing as head of rugby at Wisbech Grammar College.

Membership chairman Nick Wilcox stated: “Simon is far wanted in native rugby circles, and his recruitment to Stags is one thing of a coup for the membership.
