Luiten cards a 65, has 3-shot lead at BMW Open

MUNICH — Joost Luiten carded a bogey-free 7-under 65 on Saturday to match his lowest spherical of the season and take a three-shot lead into the ultimate spherical of the BMW International Open.

The 37-year-old Luiten is in prime place at 14 below to assert his seventh European tour win – his first since 2018. Dutch compatriot Dan Huizing was his nearest challenger after a 66 within the third spherical.

Daniel Hillier of New Zealand, Tristan Lawrence of South Africa and Ryder Cup vice-captain Edward Molinari of Italy had been tied for third at 10 below.
